The international FMCG company, the owner of 3 production enterprises in the south-eastern region, announces a competition for the vacant position of HSE manager.

Main functional responsibilities:

• Implementation and development of the strategy and operational plan for occupational safety, health and environment systems and risks in accordance with the Company Policy and current legislation;
• Effective management of the production safety system, health, safety and environmental protection system;
• Conducting audits in accordance with the industrial safety strategy, occupational safety and environmental protection system;
• Analysis and preparation of audit reports for management;
• Implementation of best international practices in the area of responsibility in accordance with current Ukrainian legislation.

Requirements for applicants:

• Higher education (technical or other relevant fields);
• Experience in a similar position in a large food production from 5 years;
• Experience with international safety standards;
• Work experience and application of health and safety methods in the workplace;
• Knowledge of Ukrainian legislation in the field of labor protection, industrial safety and environmental protection;
• Understanding of the regulatory framework for food and environmental safety and the application of these norms in the start-up of production;
• Understanding of environmental regulations and legislation and their impact on production processes;
• Knowledge of the financial consequences of violations of safety and legal regulations in the area of responsibility.
• Readiness for frequent business trips to the company’s production facilities.
• Fluency in spoken and written English;
• Skills in developing training programs and conducting training – desirable.
