An ambitious and rapidly growing food retail chain in Ukraine is announcing an opening for the position of Import Manager (Europe, Turkey).

The company offers:

Key responsibilities:

• Organization and coordination of import shipments;
• Cooperation with suppliers from European countries and Turkey;
• Full support of foreign economic activity (FEA): negotiations, contracts, logistics, customs clearance, certification, and delivery control;
• Coordination with customs brokers, logistics companies, and internal departments;
• Monitoring delivery timelines and inventory levels;
• Documentation management and support of import contracts;
• Market analysis and search for new suppliers;
• Reporting directly to the Commercial Director.

Candidate requirements:

• Higher education degree;
• Previous experience in import / foreign economic activity;
• Priority will be given to candidates with experience working with European countries and Turkey;
• Experience in categories such as fresh, ultra-fresh, and food products is preferred;
• Understanding of international logistics, customs procedures, and certification processes;
• Experience working with food products will be a significant advantage;
• English proficiency at a working level;
• Strong sense of responsibility, organizational skills, and communication abilities;
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and make quick decisions;
• Willingness to travel for business trips.
