A retail grocery company that is actively developing its assortment and category management is looking for a strong Category Manager – SAUSAGES AND MEAT DELICACIES, who is able not simply to manage the assortment, but to see the category as a full-fledged business and influence its financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of the “SAUSAGES AND MEAT DELICACIES” categories;
• Development and management of the assortment matrix;
• Analysis of sales, margins, turnover and category profitability;
• Assortment management in accordance with customer needs;
• Search for and development of suppliers;
• Conducting negotiations and agreeing on commercial terms;
• Management of pricing policy and promotional activities;
• Market and competitive environment analysis;
• Working with new products, private labels (PL) and category development;
• Participation in developing the category development strategy;
• Achievement of planned turnover, margin and other KPI targets.

Requirements for Candidates:

• Higher education;
• Experience as a Category Manager / Procurement Manager in FMCG or grocery retail;
• Mandatory experience specifically with the sausages and/or meat delicacies categories;
• Understanding of category management principles;
• Strong skills in assortment, pricing, promotions and analytics;
• Experience in negotiations with suppliers;
• Ability to work with figures and make decisions based on analytics;
• Structured approach, initiative and a high level of responsibility;
• Willingness to travel on business, including to the company’s head office in Kharkiv.
