Ukrainian pharmaceutical trade and manufacturing company announces a competition for the vacant position of Senior auditor, Kyiv.

Main responsibilities:

• Carrying out special audits of the financial and economic activities of the company;
• Preparing reports on the results of scheduled and special audits of the financial and economic activities of the company for review by the manager;
• Checking the procedure for maintaining accounting records and submitting financial and accounting reports when implementing the financial and economic activities of the company;
• Checking the compliance of the company’s financial and economic operations with the requirements of the legislation and the Company’s Charter;
• Conducting an assessment of operational activities in order to determine whether their results comply with the established goals, objectives and plans;
• Conducting an analysis of the causes of violations and deficiencies identified during audits, providing recommendations and developing systemic; optimal measures to eliminate/prevent/minimize them in the future;
• Conducting an assessment of the implementation of corrective measures developed based on the audit results;
• Identifying areas of potential damage, risks of fraud, corruption, abuse and illegal actions and promptly informing the manager about it;
• Participation in official investigations;
• Assessing the efficiency of resource use, methods of ensuring the safety of assets and, where appropriate, checking the availability and condition of these assets;
• Assessing and promoting the improvement of risk management processes, using a systematic and consistent approach as part of the audits.

Candidate requirements:

• Higher education;
• 1-2 years of experience in BIG4/BIG6 companies or in internal audit;
• Knowledge of the basics of management accounting, controlling and budgeting;
• Knowledge of methods for analyzing the company’s economic and financial activities;
• Knowledge of financial indicators and methods for calculating them;
• Knowledge of international financial reporting standards and reporting in accordance with international standards;
• Knowledge of the Regulations (standards) of accounting of Ukraine and reporting in accordance with national standards;
• Knowledge of the rules for conducting audits and documentary audits;
• Intermediate knowledge of English;
• Ability to build analytical reports;
• Knowledge of work processes using specialized accounting systems.
