The retail company announces a competition for the vacant position of Head of the Legal Department, Kharkiv.

Main functional responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of the company’s legal strategy;
- Management of the legal department, organization and control of the team (15+ people);
- Legal support of the company’s business activities: retail, distribution, licenses;
- Verification and approval of contracts, transaction support, development of a template contractual framework;
- Representation of the company’s interests in courts, government agencies and regulatory authorities;
- Minimization of legal risks, monitoring changes in legislation, implementation of appropriate changes in processes;
- Support of corporate governance, licensing, protection of intellectual property rights.
Requirements:
- Higher legal education.
- Experience in a managerial position in the legal department for at least 5 years (preferably in the retail sector).
- Practical knowledge in the field of business, licensing, labor, tax and administrative law.
- Confident PC user, skills in working with legal databases (LIGA, YouControl, etc.).
- Strategic thinking, leadership qualities, ability to work in a multitasking environment.
