The Ukrainian pharmaceutical trading and production company announces a competition for the vacant position of Head of Labor Protection and Environment Department, Kyiv.

Main responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the development and implementation of measures aimed at meeting the requirements of legislation on labor protection, fire safety and the environment;
• Responsibility for the development and implementation of enterprise activities and documentation aimed at meeting the requirements of international and state standards ISO 14001 and ISO 45001;
• Development of annual and quarterly work plans for the department, submitting them for approval and ensuring their timely implementation;
• Planning the department budget and monitoring its implementation;
• Organization and participation in the investigation of accidents, occupational diseases and industrial accidents, keeping records of accidents;
• Ensuring that employees receive introductory training on labor protection and fire safety;
• Communication with state supervisory authorities, trade union bodies, research and other organizations;
• Organizing control over the state of working conditions at workplaces in compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards;
• Organization of external audits of systems according to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001;
• Organization and participation in internal audits according to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001;
• Reporting to the CEO of the company.

Requirements for candidates:

• Higher education;
• Additional business and specialized education is welcome;
• Knowledge of English is an advantage for the candidate;
• 7 years of experience in a similar position in a systematic structured production company with a staff of 500 people;
• Knowledge of international standards ISO 45001, 14001.
• Direct participation in lean manufacturing projects, adaptation and implementation of corporate standards in the work of a manufacturing enterprise;
• Ability to identify and apply knowledge of regulatory documents in practical work;
• Ability to plan and organize work, prioritize, distribute (delegate) responsibilities;
• Ability to systematize information;
• Ability to work with people (creating a team, holding meetings, the ability to monitor and support subordinates, establish feedback with employees, understand the characteristics of subordinates’ motivation);
• Ability to manage conflicts;
• Ability to quickly make decisions and take responsibility for it;
• Ability to organize one’s own activities and manage time effectively;
• Successful experience in managing a team of subordinates, including remote production facilities;
• Willingness for business trips.
