An international IT company engaged in the development of the cybersecurity market in Ukraine announces a competition to fill the vacant position of Head of Accounting Group.

Main functional responsibilities:

• Organization, implementation and set-up of the new ERP system and its support;
• Organizing, planning and coordinating the activities of accountants and chief accountants of the company;
• Development of the group’s accounting policies based on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Continuous improvement of accounting processes and identification of ways to improve the efficiency of the accounting department
• Interaction with government and tax authorities;
• Maintaining accounting and management records;
• Coordination and cooperation with auditors;
• Forecasting and implementing a policy for the optimal use of company resources;
• Control of quality, transparency and completeness of reporting in accordance with IFRS standards and tax reporting requirements;
• Reconciliation of documents and financial settlements with counterparties on a regular basis.

Requirements:

• Higher education in accounting, finance or economics;
• Experience as a chief accountant, deputy chief accountant or head of an accounting group for at least 5 years;
• Deep understanding of IFRS, Ukrainian Accounting standards and their practical application in financial reporting;
• Ability to communicate effectively with a team of accountants and financial analysts;
• Knowledge of English at a level sufficient to communicate with foreign partners and clients;
• Knowledge of accounting and tax accounting;
• Ability to analyze the accounting program and control work areas;
• Experience in Business Central (Dynamics), SAP or other ERP;
• Punctuality, high level of responsibility and independence.
