Responsibilities:

• Participation in the development of project budgets, preparation and submission of documentation for internal and external use;
• Control of budget implementation, reconciliation of actual costs with project classes to ensure compliance;
• Preparation of plan-fact analysis of project implementation, provision of information for strategic evaluation of projects;
• Formation of funding requests, submission of financial statements and primary documents related to grant projects to donors and auditors;
• Agreement of terms of contracts, initiation of payments within project activities and provision of transparent financial document flow;
• Reporting, closing special management requests within financial functions.
• Budget implementation control, compliance of financial reporting and monitoring of sub-grantee expenditures.
• Preparation and coordination of documents for audits, ensuring compliance of all expenses with the requirements of the donor.
• Support of professional communication with donors, provision of prompt provision of financial information and reports in English.
• Analysis and forecasting of financial indicators by projects, formation of regular reporting and plan-fact analysis.
• Agreeing the terms of contracts with counterparties and sub-grantees in accordance with internal and donor requirements.
• Organization of cost accounting for projects, preparation of financial requests for financing and control of their implementation.

Requirements for candidates:

• Higher education in economics, finance or accounting;
• 2+ years of work experience in international level projects, in particular in consortia or with the role of a grant provider, with the functions of monitoring the use of grants by recipients;
• Strong communication and presentation skills, analytical mindset;
• Knowledge of English at the upper-intermediate+ level for effective communication with donors and partners;
• Confident command of Microsoft Office;
• Experience with Atlassian analytical tools and products would be an advantage.
