    The alliance of companies founded in 1996 by EERC and the Eurasia Foundation, whose mission is to create an intellectual foundation for the development of a sustainable and innovative economy in Ukraine, urgently seeks a Deputy CFO (grants), Kyiv.

    Responsibilities:

    • Management of finances of grant projects financed by international donors (World Bank, USAID, etc.), ensuring efficient use of funds and compliance with financial rules and regulations;
    • Management of a team of 3-5 financial managers;
    • Control over the development of the budget and regular plan-fact of projects and the general budget of the company’s business segment;
    • Control over the provision of regular financial reports on projects to donors;
    • Control over and participation in audits of financial reports on projects;
    • Development and implementation of management reports of the company’s business segment;
    • Optimization and automation of business processes of the unit;
    • Participation in the development of contracts as part of the implementation of projects.

    Requirements for candidates:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting and audit, or economics;
    • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and planning, controller of operating or capital costs, or audit;
    • Experience in team management and optimization of the unit’s work;
    • Knowledge of the tax legislation of Ukraine;
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, analytical mind;
    • Upper-intermediate level of English (written and spoken);
    • Advanced skills in working with Excel and accounting systems (1C, SAP, etc.)
    • Experience in non-profit organizations (will be an advantage);
    • Experience in participating in the implementation of modern accounting systems, including ERP level (will be an advantage).
