An agricultural company, whose main activities are crop cultivation and storage, is announcing a competition for the vacant position of Chief Executive Officer (Agricultural Company), Poltava Region.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensuring the full cycle of fieldwork: from preparation and sowing to harvesting, in line with the approved crop rotation and technologies;
• Securing land preservation and identifying opportunities for expanding the land bank;
• Organizing communication processes with government and local authorities to ensure sustainable business operations in the region;
• Organizing and controlling the efficiency of subordinates’ work;
• Implementing the company’s business strategy, corporate values, and operational standards;
• Reporting to the owner.

Candidate requirements:

• Higher education, preferably in agriculture;
• At least 5 years of experience as CEO / Branch / Cluster Director in agricultural companies with land holdings of 20,000–30,000 ha or more;
• Experience in crop production and knowledge of advanced agricultural technologies (precision farming, modern production control technologies, etc.);
• Proven experience in managing the operational activities of an agricultural company, supported by high production/financial results;
• Experience in land acquisition or successful cases of retaining land banks, with a solid understanding of the land market;
• Understanding of cultural aspects of working in rural areas;
• Strong managerial and leadership skills: change management, strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and political intelligence;
• Integrity, responsibility, proactiveness, business-oriented approach, result focus, and readiness to make decisions and take responsibility for them.
