Responsibilities:
- Developing accounting policies and accounting management methodology;
- Preparation and timely submission of accounting, financial and tax reporting in accordance with the requirements of Ukrainian legislation;
- Monitoring legislation and accounting practice for timely response to changes in legislation;
- Cooperation with control authorities, regulatory authorities, management and coordination of tax/financial audits and cooperation with auditors;
- Formation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including for further consolidation and management accounting,
- Carrying out monthly closing of financial statements and reconciling invoices for payment;
- Contract control – assessment of financial and tax risks;
- Managing a team of accountants and creating a positive climate in the team;
- Responsibility for entire teams, training and supporting junior employees to develop their skills;
- Active work on improving and optimizing reporting processes to ensure the quality of accounting and support and improvement of the internal control system;
- Development and automation of business processes at the company and holding level, where possible;
- Providing support to the CFO on requests and data collection.
Requirements for candidates:
- Higher education in accounting and auditing, finance or economics;
- Experience as a chief accountant or deputy chief accountant for at least 5 years;
- Experience in non-profit organizations;
- Experience in participating in the implementation of modern accounting systems, including ERP level;
- Implemented and/or reported in IFRS;
- Knowledge of English at the intermediate level will be an advantage when selecting a candidate;
- Communication and presentation skills, analytical mindset;
- Experience in preparing information for reporting in foreign jurisdictions;
- Experience in working with tax and other regulatory authorities;
- Clarity, attentiveness, activity.
