A network of branded grocery stores is announcing a vacancy for the position of Category Manager in Kyiv / Cherkasy due to active expansion and the opening of new offices.

Main responsibilities:

• Developing an assortment matrix for the assigned category (Tobacco + Alcohol, Low-alcoholic + Non-alcoholic beverages, Grocery, Confectionery + Snacks, Non-food);
• Managing the assortment in retail outlets: searching for and introducing new products, testing, analyzing, and rotating items;
• Analyzing and identifying opportunities for category growth;
• Negotiating with suppliers and signing purchase contracts;
• Monitoring compliance with supplier agreements;
• Managing pricing according to company regulations;
• Creating promotional activity calendars and managing campaigns;
• Daily KPI analysis: sales turnover and margin achievement percentage, growth dynamics, stock turnover, loss percentage, etc.;
• Communicating with retail outlets and resolving operational issues;
• Monitoring supplier debt;
• Performing current tasks assigned by management;
• Monthly reporting on work results.

Candidate requirements:

• Higher education;
• At least 2 years of experience as a Category Manager in Retail;
• Over 3 years of experience in a specific category;
• Proven track record of successful projects;
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills;
• Proficiency in Excel and 1C software;
• Knowledge of computer programs and modern analysis methods;
• Residency in Kyiv or Cherkasy;
• Willingness to travel to Cherkasy.
