A large retail network of grocery stores with an extensive operational structure and a large team is looking for an experienced HR Director to join its team. The company is actively developing and is looking for a professional who can systematically develop the HR function, support the business in all people-related matters, and build an effective and high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies, define their key areas, and establish unified HR standards.
- Analyze the labor market and potential talent pool.
- Build and manage a talent pool and career development programs.
- Optimize the company’s organizational structure, including the structure of departments and functional interaction between them.
- Develop the regional HR development strategy, including recruitment, onboarding, and training of employees.
- Build management teams for regional branches and manage the regional HR structure.
- Manage HR-related budgeting, including payroll, recruitment, employee development, and training.
- Optimize personnel costs and improve employee productivity.
- Organize effective recruitment and selection processes for employees at all levels.
- Attract and select candidates using effective sourcing channels, modern technologies, and recruitment methodologies.
- Develop and implement employee training and development programs, including training needs assessment, improvement of the existing training system, and involvement of internal and external resources.
- Organize employee onboarding and adaptation, set objectives, and monitor their implementation.
- Manage the talent pool and career development.
- Monitor labor costs and employee productivity; organize employee performance evaluation/assessment, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and measure effectiveness.
- Manage and coordinate HR projects aimed at improving compensation and incentive systems; analyze market data and develop recommendations for changes to existing compensation and benefits policies.
- Establish and maintain effective internal communication.
- Prepare HR-related reports for the CEO / business owner.
Requirements:
- Higher education; additional education in Human Resources / HR Management will be an advantage.
- At least 3 years of successful experience as an HR Director.
- Experience as an HR Director in grocery or food retail will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of modern HR practices and methodologies.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing KPI systems.
- Strong knowledge of Ukrainian labor legislation.
- Deep understanding of business processes.
- Strong analytical and leadership skills, creativity, resilience, flexibility, ability to handle a high workload, and strong results orientation.
- Willingness to travel, including business trips to the company’s head office in Kharkiv.
