Key responsibilities:
- Ensuring effective management of the Wine Culture Center and restaurant as a single commercial and cultural space: brand development, financial performance, high service standards, promotion of wine culture, and creation of a unique guest experience;
- Full operational management (restaurant + cultural space);
- Development and implementation of financial plans, budgets, and P&L;
- Cost control, margin management, procurement, and inventory control;
- Service management, customer experience, and service quality standards;
- Working with premium and upper-middle-class audiences;
- Development of the Wine Culture Center and restaurant as a cultural and tourist attraction;
- Team management: recruitment, onboarding, training, and motivation of staff;
- Building a strong service culture and employee engagement;
- Managing conflicts, service incidents, and guest feedback;
- Collaboration with the marketing team: positioning, communications, PR;
- Development of the events direction: tastings, master classes, gastronomic and wine events;
- Managing and maintaining the venue’s reputation (online and offline).
Candidate requirements:
- Higher education (management, hospitality, hotel & restaurant business, marketing, economics, tourism, or related fields);
- At least 3–5 years of experience managing a restaurant, wine bar, gastronomic, or cultural space;
- Proven experience managing teams of 20+ employees;
- Hands-on experience in opening or scaling venues will be an advantage;
- Experience with event formats (tastings, festivals, presentations, gastronomic dinners);
- Established connections with the local social and cultural community; cooperation with Ukrainian bloggers will be an advantage;
- Personal qualities: leadership and systems thinking, high emotional intelligence, result- and service-oriented mindset, strong sense of taste and aesthetics, cultural sensitivity, ability to act as a brand ambassador, stress resilience, flexibility, adaptability, proactivity, and entrepreneurial mindset;
- Experience managing conceptual or author-driven projects will be an advantage;
- Understanding of HoReCa processes at the owner/operator level;
- Willingness to live and work in Odesa.
