A leading local convenience supermarket chain is looking for a new team member for the position of Head of Inventory Management Department, Kharkiv.

- Working schedule: Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00.
Key responsibilities:
- Organizing and supervising the work of the Inventory Management Department staff;
- Managing inventory across the retail chain;
- Determining optimal supply and ordering parameters;
- Configuring and monitoring automated ordering systems;
- Ensuring timely creation and submission of orders;
- Developing and implementing regulations, instructions, and business processes;
- Optimizing and automating inventory management processes;
- Preparing technical specifications for software improvements;
- Developing the department’s staffing structure;
- Participating in building employee motivation systems;
- Organizing training and monitoring staff qualifications;
- Preparing analytical and management reports;
- Participating in company project tasks.
Candidate requirements:
- Higher education degree;
- 3–5 years of experience in inventory management;
- 1–2 years of managerial experience;
- Experience in the retail industry;
- Knowledge of inventory management methods;
- Knowledge of demand planning and forecasting methods;
- Experience working with ERP/WMS systems;
- Experience with automated ordering systems;
- Understanding of procurement, logistics, and warehouse accounting processes;
- Knowledge of key inventory management KPIs;
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (formulas, pivot tables, analytics, visualization);
- Experience in developing and implementing regulations and procedures;
- Proactive approach to process improvement.
- Willingness to work from the office
- Willingness to travel for business trips.
