An international construction company is looking for a Head of General Construction Works to work at a construction site in Lviv.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensuring the execution of general construction works in accordance with project documentation and the approved schedule;
• Coordinating the activities of subcontractors at the construction site;
• Controlling the preparation, maintenance, and approval of as-built (executive) documentation;
• Monitoring the materials, equipment used on site, and related technical documentation;
• Reviewing, approving, and initiating changes to design solutions, optimizing construction processes;
• Participating in daily and weekly operational meetings;
• Providing necessary information to technical supervision and architectural supervision;
• Participating in the acceptance of completed works by the Client and confirmation of executed volumes;
• Resolving disputes related to the quality and scope of completed works;
• Monitoring compliance with labor discipline by subcontractors;
• Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations at the construction site.

Candidate requirements:

• Completed higher technical education in Civil Engineering;
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position or with similar functional responsibilities (industrial construction is an advantage);
• Knowledge of regulatory standards: DBN, DSTU, SNiP, GOST, EN/ISO, DIN;
• Understanding of Ukrainian legislation in the fields of construction, occupational health and safety, fire safety, and environmental protection;
• Knowledge of construction technologies for earthworks, concrete works, masonry, installation, and finishing works;
• Experience in quality control of materials and completed works;
• Ability to read working drawings and specifications, and to propose optimization improvements;
• Confident user of MS Office; AutoCAD — intermediate level (Revit will be an advantage);
• Experience working with electronic document management systems and platforms for exchanging project documentation;
• English language — will be an advantage (preferably from A1 level);
• Leadership skills, stress resistance, responsibility, and analytical thinking.
