An international product FinTech company, one of the largest financial services operators in the Ukrainian market, is announcing a vacancy for the position of Cost Officer.

Key responsibilities:

• Cost control and analysis:
• Tracking actual costs (materials, labor, overhead) and comparing them with planned targets/agreements/standards.
• Monitoring contracts and suppliers.
• Implementation of cost control and optimization measures:
• Developing and implementing initiatives to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
• Collaborating with functions (production, procurement, logistics, etc.) to control costs and understand cost drivers.
• Decision support and business analytics:
• Providing financial and analytical information to management: assessing the impact of costs on profit.
• Participating in long-term strategic planning considering the cost structure.
• Making recommendations for cost optimization and reduction.
• Systems and processes:
• Improving processes: centralized/standardized cost reporting, enhancing transparency, and identifying “excess” or inefficient processes.

Candidate requirements:

• Higher education in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field – preferred, but not mandatory.
• Ability to work with analytics and numbers.
• High attention to detail and systematic thinking.
• Skills in cross-departmental collaboration, ability to translate financial metrics into business language.
